One identity · the whole network

The passport for a sovereign
Ummah.

The privacy-focused single sign-on for the Ummah — one that doesn’t sell its users to the surveillance apparatus like every other sign-in option you have today. It’s the identity card for accessing the network of projects the world’s 1.9 billion Muslims need: directories, standards, mosques, businesses, learning, travel, and more.

Two projects live today — Ihsan Standard (the independent reference for Muslim institutions held to the highest standards of Iḥsān, the basis of a unified Muslim supply chain) and NoorMap (the most comprehensive public directory and privacy-first map of Muslim spaces). A few more in active build. All built on top of one identity.

Live in the network

A network of apps, built on UmmahPassport.

Sign in once. Each app in the network sees a pairwise pseudonymous ID for the same human — they cannot correlate your activity across them. That’s the structural privacy guarantee the rest of the surveillance-funded internet can’t make.

Ihsan Standard

إحسان

The standard the Ummah holds itself to.

Independent reference for evaluating and improving Muslim institutions — directory, scholar-reviewed standards, fiqh-aware tooling, engagement-track audits, a template library, and the canonical ledger of Muslim nonprofits + businesses + mosques the rest of the network reads from.

NoorMap

نور

The map of Muslim spaces that doesn't sell its visitors.

The most comprehensive public directory and privacy-first map of Muslim spaces — mosques (with iqamah times), HFSAA / HMS-certified halal restaurants, halal markets, Islamic schools, modest fashion, cemeteries, and Muslim-owned businesses. No third-party tracking, cookieless first-party analytics only, geolocation snapped to ~110m before any network call.

A few more projects in active build (Wasla — Muslim supply-chain & RFQ surface; Khidma — Muslim-led freelance marketplace). All built on the same passport.

Inspired by Our Tradition

For fourteen centuries our tradition has guarded knowledge through the Isnād— a verified chain where every transmitter is known and accountable. The integrity of who is too consequential to leave to outsiders. UmmahPassport extends that discipline to digital sign-in.

What’s structurally different

The Ummah’s digital infrastructure should not run through the same pipes that have been used against it.

  • Prior art they sold

Muslim Pro, Salaat First, and other prayer apps used by millions of Muslims were caught selling location data to US military & intelligence contractors via the X-Mode » Babel Street pipeline.

    Source: VICE / Motherboard, 2020.

  • One identity, never correlated

Every “Sign in with Google” or “Sign in with Facebook” click is logged and joined against their dossier on you. Apple is the best of them and still routes auth through a US-jurisdiction Big Tech firm.

One UmmahPassport account, every app in the network. Pairwise pseudonymous IDs mean even our own apps can’t cross-correlate users.

  • Independent by structure

No state funding. No third-party trackers. Emails encrypted at rest. Funded by Muslims, accountable to Muslims, charter published.

Read the charter. Read the security posture. Read the side-by-side.

Free · no sign-in required

The Muslim emergency wallet card.

If something happens and you can’t speak for yourself, the people around you only have what’s in your wallet to go on. Without something on you that says otherwise, hospital defaults take over and your Muslim burial wishes may not be respected.

  • Declares you a Muslim, in two languages

English and Arabic, signed and dated by you so it reads as your settled wishes.

  • Islamic burial procedures

Ghusl, kafan, prompt burial, janāzah prayer; no embalming or autopsy unless legally required.

  • Emergency contacts

Two people responders should call before any irreversible decision — plus your imam or community contact.

  • Essentials

Blood type, allergies, date of birth, and organ-donor wishes.

Built browser-only

The form runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers. Close the tab and your data is gone.

For developers · build on top of one identity

Add “Sign in with UmmahPassport” to your app.

Drop-in OIDC-compatible SSO for any app. Same user experience as “Sign in with Google” — without the ad surveillance machinery sitting behind it. If your stack already supports Google Sign-In, you can wire UmmahPassport in about ten minutes of config.

What your users will see

Same shape, same UX. The structural difference lives in what happens to the user’s data after they click.

The network

Two ways the network grows.

Some surfaces we build ourselves. Others we trust other Muslim teams to build and connect via the SSO. Both share one passport and the same charter floor — no third-party tracking, no data combination, no surveillance contracts.

Built by us, on top of UmmahPassport

Network projects.

Maintained by the UmmahPassport team. Share the canonical ledger, the federation layer, and the privacy posture by default. Live: Ihsan Standard, NoorMap. In active build: Wasla, Khidma.

Trusted partners using UmmahPassport SSO

Partner projects.

Independent Muslim-led projects that adopt UmmahPassport as their sign-in. Their users get the same pairwise privacy guarantee; the project earns a Featured Partner spot here. Reviewed against the charter before listing.

No featured partners yet

Be the first Muslim-led project to integrate. Add “Sign in with UmmahPassport” in about ten minutes of config — same shape as Google / Apple OAuth, none of the surveillance.
